The housing market is alive and well in Richland County. Numbers just released from the Ohio Association of Realtors show a 27.3% increase in the number of units sold in January 2016 versus January 2015. The numbers break down to 112 units sold this January versus 88 units last January.
Mansfield MLS reports a 27.3% increase in the number of units sold in January 2016 over January 2015.
The average sales price also had an impressive jump, rising to an average of $119,142 versus $85,137 the year before. That is an increase of 39.9%.
Finally, the total dollar volume of all sales in January 2016 in the Mansfield MLS was $13,343,950.
